Pradyumna Singh -previously worked on sound folder application on MOAP(L) based platform, configuration management module for Network cards on Network Equipments(), and on RSS module on Maemo5
Prasanna Kumar- previously worked on porting firefox over DirectFB, OpenVG , worked on OSSO-PDF-Viewer on Maemo5
Purpose
The main aim of this workout is to get the developers to start developing using Maemo5. We have a few bugs which require solutions .This workout will be extended for development on maemo5 -in terms of porting apps -writing applications based on developers interest

Pre-requisites
Languages, tools to be known
For this session GTK is a must.
Development environment pre requisite
Ubuntu installed
It Would be great if scratchbox and development environment is setup according to http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/Maemo_5_Final_SDK_Installation
Getting and compiling the code
The code would be available at the stall at foss.in no links are available for download.

Update
Day 1: we were able to resolve a few issues regarding installation of the dev environment across different platform .we were also able to compile an app written for n810 to n900 though some further work is needed for it.
